This 27 degree weather at the end of September is delightful and all, don’t get me wrong, but bring on the fall weather so we can dive into our much anticipated fall wardrobes for crying out loud!!! I can’t remember a time that I’ve been so excited for colder temperatures until we found Granted Clothing. Ahhh Granted Clothing, it’s a beautiful thing. You can go out and scoure the vintage shops for somebody elses 25yr old wool sweater for under $50 bucks but why??? They smell, they’re stained, they fit weird, and quite frankly, you just won’t have that same satisfaction of buying your very own brand new Granted sweater that you’ll own for the next 30yrs!! I’ll warn you now though, once you’ve seen their many designs, you won’t want just one. You’ll need the Deer Vest, the Whistler Toque (yes our very own custom design!), the Spouting Whale design, the Camel or Green Owl one……oh and I could go on. I want them all!
Check them out at http://www.grantedclothing .com
Here’s a little bit about them…..
Granted is a premium hand-knit company located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They specialize in traditional Canadian and unique hand knit sweaters and accessories using 100% pure new wool, merino wool and possum-blend wool.
All of their products are hand-made one piece at a time by experienced knitters from Vancouver. They do their best to use local sources for all of their trimmings and yarn, but have found that the best quality wool comes from New Zealand.
Have you heard of Happy Socks??? We have and that’s why we’ve decided to carry them at our store and we couldn’t be more, well, happy!
They’re on their way as I write this and should be out on the floor by next week. They come in all sorts of different colours and patterns and the best thing about them is that they’re UNISEX! So everyone gets to enjoy a pair of Happy Socks.
Already a Lucky favorite for its super-soft, faded tees, Alternative Apparel recently launched an earth-friendly line called Alternative Earth. Made from 100 percent organic cotton, the selection ranges from the company’s trademark crisp white tees to the slouchy V-necks in its Eco-Heather collection.
